The island of Skiathos is located approximately 110 kilometers north of the Greek capital Athens on the edge of the western Aegean Sea. It belongs to the Northern Sporades. Its coasts are home to the most beautiful beaches in Greece. The south of the island is completely geared towards tourism and is bustling with life from spring to late fall, while there is hardly a soul to be found in the north.
