Ferries to Gresik
Gresik lies 6 nautical miles north-west of Surabaya on the Madura Strait. The historic port offers ferry services to Madura (30 min) and Bawean (3-4 hrs). Gresik was one of the first places where Islam took hold in Indonesia.
Ferries to Jepara
Jepara is the main port for ferries to the Karimunjawa Islands in the Java Sea. Express Bahari (2.5 hrs) and the slower ferry KMP Siginjai run several times a week. Book tickets in advance.
