A-Ships Management
A-Ships Management SA, formerly known as European Seaways Inc., is a Greek shipping company owned by the Arkoumanis family. Founded in 1990, it is based in Athens and set out to offer ferry services in the Adriatic.
A-Ships Management connects southern Italy with ports in Albania and western Greece, including the Ionian Islands. The main route runs from Brindisi in Italy to Vlora in Albania, with a year-round daily service. In the summer months, the company additionally served the Brindisi-Corfu-Igoumenitsa line.
The company's fleet consists of three ships: Golden Bridge, Galaxy and MV Prince. The ferry Prince can carry 1,300 passengers and 300 vehicles, and has 148 cabins with 457 berths in total, plus seating areas with 384 aircraft-style seats. The Galaxy and Golden Bridge are currently chartered out to Caronte & Tourist and Grandi Navi Veloci respectively.
The company specialises in managing and operating RoRo passenger ships. Its key ports of call include Brindisi, Vlora, Corfu and Igoumenitsa. A-Ships Management is one of several operators running services from the port of Corfu, alongside Grimaldi Lines, Minoan Lines, Anek Superfast and Ventouris Ferries.
