Toremar is an Italian ferry company founded in 1976 that operates mainly in the Tyrrhenian Sea. Under the name Navigazione Toscana, ferries have run between Piombino and Portoferraio since 1914. In 2011 the company was taken over by Moby S.p.A.

The ferry services run from Piombino to all three ports on Elba: Portoferraio (the main port), Rio Marina and Cavo. The regular crossing to Portoferraio takes about an hour, while the high-speed hydrofoil Schiopparello Jet reaches Cavo in just 15 minutes and Portoferraio in 40 minutes. The island of Elba lies about 10 km from the mainland.

The fleet comprises ferries and hydrofoils. In 2015 the renovation of the entire fleet was completed, and Toremar became the world's first "SmartFerry" operator: passengers can use free Wi-Fi throughout the crossing.

Tickets to Elba (Rio Marina or Cavo) from Piombino are slightly cheaper than those to Portoferraio. Cars, motorbikes and motorhomes can be taken on all conventional ferries, though not on hydrofoils. The booking window shows the current starting price for your travel date.
