The ferry port of Turgutreis lies on the Bodrum peninsula in the Turkish province of Muğla, a good half a kilometre from the town centre. From here you can reach Kos in Greece. A ferry leaves once a day, sailings run daily, and the crossing takes around 30 minutes. The port is served by Dentur Avrasya. Because this is a trip between Turkey and the EU, passports and border control are part of the journey in both directions: allow more time for that than the short sea crossing suggests.
