Adria Ferries is an Italian shipping company headquartered in Ancona, founded in 2004 under the leadership of Adriatica di Navigazione. The company is regarded as the market leader for ferry links between Italy and Albania.
Adria Ferries connects Italy with Albania and, since 2024, with Montenegro too. The main route runs from Ancona to Durrës in Albania, with six departures a week. From Bari, twelve ferries a week sail to Durrës. Since 2024 the company has also served the Ancona-Bar route to Montenegro. Additional connections are offered from Trieste.
The fleet consists of four passenger ferries: AF Mia, AF Claudia, AF Francesca and AF Marina. All the ships can carry vehicles as well as passengers. Since its founding, the company has carried more than 2.5 million passengers and 700,000 vehicles.
Onboard, various accommodation options are available, including comfortably furnished cabins on the main deck as well as reclining Pullman-style seats. The ships have restaurants, self-service cafeterias and cafés. Further facilities include duty-free shops and entertainment. The company holds International Safety Management (ISM) Code certification and relies on modern, fuel-efficient ships.
