Ferries to Corsica

You can set off on your Mediterranean holiday in Corsica with your own car. There are numerous ferry connections from France or Italy that bring travellers to the island along with their vehicle.
Tip: if you plan your journey by motorbike, car or motorhome well in advance, you can often secure especially good prices!
Ferries to Corsica – crossing from France
Travelling by car via France, you can continue your journey with the ferries of Corsica Linea and La Méridionale, for example. Corsica Linea sails from Marseille to the ports of Ajaccio, Bastia, L’Île-Rousse and Porte Vecchio. La Méridionale crosses to Ajaccio and Propriano. Depending on the ferry port in Corsica, the crossing takes between 10h and 13h.
Corsica Ferries sails from Nice and Toulon to L’Île-Rousse, Bastia and Porto Vecchio, as well as from Toulon to Ajaccio. Passengers should allow between 4.5h and 12h for the crossing.

Ajaccio lies on the west coast of Corsica, around 210 nautical miles south-east of Marseille, and links the island regularly with French destinations such as Toulon and Marseille as well as with Italy and Sardinia.

Ferries to Bonifacio
The ferry port of Bonifacio is at the southern tip of the French Mediterranean island of Corsica and is the only major harbour link on the island's south coast. Ferries run from here to Santa Teresa di Gallura on the Italian island of Sardinia, only about 6 nautical miles away, with several sailings a day and a crossing time of about 50 minutes.

The ferry port of L'Île-Rousse lies on the north coast of Corsica in the Balagne region and links the island several times a week with French ports such as Marseille, Toulon, Nice and Sète as well as with Italian cities such as Savona. More than 400,000 travellers use the port each year.
