Ferries to Denmark
Denmark is made up of more than 400 islands, and its neighbours Sweden and Norway can only be reached across the water.
Prices, departure times, tickets and more
Heading for Denmark: if you are travelling by car, motorhome or motorbike, you board a ferry in northern Germany and are carried across to Scandinavia together with your vehicle.
Two operators run crossings from Germany to ferry ports in Denmark: Scandlines and Bornholmslinjen. We no longer list the car ferry from List on Sylt to Havneby on Rømø; that route is served by the FRS Sylt ferry. The modern car ferries carry cars with and without trailers, motorhomes and camper vans, foot passengers and cyclists. If you are travelling by motorbike, the ferries to Denmark are a comfortable option too.
