Alpha Lines ferry routes
Every route operated by Alpha Lines at a glance, with current crossing times, timetables and ticket prices.
Alpha Lines was founded in 2019 by Vasilis Agapitos, continuing a maritime family tradition dating back to 1964. In 2018 the Agapitos family withdrew from Hellenic Seaways, and two years later founded Alpha Lines with its first catamaran fast craft.
Alpha Lines connects Piraeus daily with the Saronic islands of Poros, Hydra and Spetses. Departures from Piraeus leave from Gate E9. The crossing to Poros takes under an hour, from Poros to Hydra 40 minutes, and from Hydra to Spetses another 40 minutes.
The fleet consists of a single ship, the SPEEDCAT I. The high-speed craft, formerly part of the Adriatic Lines fleet, uses wave-piercing technology, allowing it to cut through waves for a faster, more stable ride. The ship reaches speeds of up to 36 knots and carries 301 passengers. Vehicles cannot be carried.
The SPEEDCAT I is the only high-speed ship in the Saronic Gulf with a sun deck, which also includes a dedicated area for pets. Onboard, air conditioning, a lounge with seating and Wi-Fi are available. Passengers can order from the minibar online. Large families get a 50 per cent discount, as do people with disabilities and their companions, while uniformed personnel receive 30 per cent off.
