Africa Morocco Link (AML) is a Moroccan ferry company established on 17 June 2016 as a joint venture between the Greek Attica Group and the Moroccan Banque Marocaine du Commerce Extérieur. In April 2024, Sweden's Stena Line acquired the Attica Group's 49 per cent stake.
Africa Morocco Link connects Morocco and Spain across the Strait of Gibraltar. The main route runs from Tanger Med to Algeciras, with up to 11 departures a day. It also serves the Tanger Ville-Tarifa route. The company is one of two Moroccan ferry operators running routes between Africa and Europe.
The fleet consists of several ships, including the conventional ferries Morocco Sun and Morocco Star. It also includes the vessels Diagoras and El. Venizelos, which reach speeds of over 20 knots. The Diagoras was used for the inaugural sailing in 2016.
Onboard, the ferries offer modern passenger facilities, including cabins and restaurants. The ships have garages for carrying vehicles. As a sister company of Blue Star Ferries and Superfast Ferries, AML benefits from the Attica Group's experience in international ferry operations. The company plans to expand connections between Morocco and Europe.
