Aquabus was founded in 1990 and offers regular boat and ferry services between Ibiza and Formentera, as well as local connections between Ibiza's popular beaches. The company is known for its affordable prices and convenient coastal service.

Aquabus connects Ibiza Town with the resorts of Figueretas and Playa d'en Bossa via its Beach City Boat Service, which runs hourly and offers hop-on-hop-off day passes. The main route runs from Figueretas and Playa d'en Bossa to Formentera, with a crossing time of around 60 minutes to the port of La Savina. Departures leave from the old harbour Ibiza Magna, from the jetty in front of the Hotel Ibiza Playa in Figueretas, and from the jetty by the Hotel The Ibiza Twiins in Playa d'en Bossa.

Ferry fares start at €5.50 for a one-way trip, while the crossing to Formentera costs €29.99 for adults and €14.99 for children. Aquabus offers up to 45 per cent discount for children aged 4 to 13, children under 4 travel free, and seniors over 60 also receive discounts.

The service runs from mid-May to mid-September. Luggage, bicycles and pets are carried free of charge, and free parking is available near the Playa d'en Bossa departure point. Departures from Figueretas and Playa d'en Bossa count as tourist excursions, so the outward and return trip must be made on the same day.
