Bundhaya Speed Boat is a well-known ferry operator that has offered ferry services in Thailand and Malaysia since 2008. The company mainly serves islands off Thailand's west coast, but also runs ferry connections to Langkawi Island in Malaysia.
Bundhaya Speed Boat is known for its excellent service on the speedboat route between Langkawi and Koh Lipe. Its routes cover Pakbara Pier, Koh Lipe, Koh Bulone, Koh Mook, Koh Ngai, Koh Lanta, Koh Phi Phi and Phuket. The popular Langkawi (Kuah Jetty) to Koh Lipe (Bundhaya Beach) route takes 1.5 hours, while Phuket (Rassada Pier) to Koh Phi Phi (Tonsai Pier) takes an hour.
The fleet consists of speedboats of various sizes: 3-engine speedboats for up to 45 passengers and 4-engine speedboats for up to 75 passengers. There are seven weekly sailings between Langkawi Island and Koh Lipe. Tickets for the Koh Lipe-Langkawi route cost around 182 MYR for adults and around 144 MYR for children aged 3-9. Infants under 3 travel free.
