Exas Shipping Services

Exas Shipping Services belongs to the Greek company EXAS Travel on the island of Kos. Manos Tyrinopoulos founded the company in 1965; today his son Spyros Tyrinopoulos runs the family business.

Importantly, Exas is not a ferry company with its own ships, but a shipping and travel agency. The company represents more than 35 shipping companies by its own account, sells their tickets and handles local check-in. Crossings booked under the Exas name are therefore operated by partner vessels.

Its operating area lies in the south-eastern Aegean Sea, specifically on the short international crossing between the Dodecanese and the Turkish coast opposite. The agency also coordinates connections between Italy, Greece and Turkey.
