Hanil Express is a South Korean ferry company that has run passenger shipping services since 1977. It has served routes to Jeju-do since 1979 and is currently a leading operator of car ferries to South Korea's largest island.

Hanil Express currently operates two ferry routes from Jeju Island: to Wando and to Yeosu. The crossing on the Silver Cloud between Wando and Jeju takes 2 hours 40 minutes, while the Gold Stella takes 5 hours 30 minutes between Yeosu and Jeju. There is also a route via the Chuja Islands.

The fleet has been significantly modernised in recent years. The 20,263-tonne "Silver Cloud" entered service on 25 October 2018, replacing the older Hanil Car Ferry No. 1 — it is the first car ferry built with Korean technology. The 21,989-tonne "Gold Stella" is a new cruise-class car ferry introduced in June 2020.

The fleet renewal followed tightened safety regulations after the 2014 Sewol ferry disaster. The Shipping Act was revised and the age limit for domestic passenger ships was lowered from 30 to 25 years. Hanil Express's main business is car ferries, carrying both passengers and vehicles to the tourist island of Jeju.
