Ippocampo is an Italian ferry operator based on Procida, founded in 1995. The company connects the islands and the mainland in the Gulf of Naples, aiming to carry passengers consistently, comfortably and safely.
The ferries call at four ports in the Gulf of Naples: the commercial port of Marina Grande on Procida, Ischia Porto (the "Scivolo" landing), the commercial port of Pozzuoli, and Monte di Procida Porto. In summer, boats run daily on the routes between Procida, Pozzuoli and Ischia from morning until evening.
The fleet consists of two vessels, Vacanze and Euro 6, which carry foot passengers only. With capacity for around 300 passengers, they offer plenty of amenities including toilets, comfortable seating, WiFi and a bar. Bicycles can be carried for 3 euros per crossing (payable at the ticket counter).
Ippocampo offers special discounts for island residents and children aged 3 to 6. Tickets can be bought at the sales points in each port. The company is a practical option for day trips to the beautiful islands in the Gulf of Naples.
