La Méridionale is a French shipping company offering passenger connections to Corsica. The company's history began in 1931, when brothers Henri and Félix Rastit founded the Compagnie Méridionale de Navigation (CMN), the oldest Corsica operator. In May 2023, the company was acquired by the CMA CGM Group.

The company's three vessels serve the Corsican ports of Bastia, Ajaccio and Propriano, as well as Porto Torres on Sardinia. The most popular routes are Marseille-Ajaccio and Marseille-Bastia, with up to 13 weekly crossings to Ajaccio and Porto Vecchio. Crossings to Corsica run overnight, with a departure every evening.

La Méridionale employs 620 staff across four vessels and operates part of the public service to Corsica. The takeover by CMA CGM, the world's third-largest shipping line, complements a new division of the group for specialised shipping services, which also includes its stake in Brittany Ferries.

The CMA CGM Group is investing in fleet modernisation to improve energy efficiency. In November 2023, the order for two new LNG-powered vessels, also capable of running on methanol, was confirmed. Entry into service is planned for early 2027.
