Laser Capri offers motorboat ferry services from various ports in the province of Naples to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. The company mainly operates motorboats and excursion boats during the summer months (April-October), which are somewhat slower than hydrofoils.
Laser Capri offers daily connections from Sorrento, Portici, Torre del Greco, Seiano and Piano di Sorrento. Timetables are arranged for day-trippers, with morning arrival and evening return. The departure and arrival point on Capri is Pier 23 in Marina Grande harbour. The Sorrento-Capri route takes around 30 minutes, with departures at 8:00, 11:20 and 12:35.
The ferries to the Amalfi Coast allow day visits to Positano and Amalfi while admiring the magnificent coastal scenery and avoiding road traffic. From Portici to Amalfi departs at 8:30, with a stop in Positano. The boats carry 50 to 100 passengers and have hostesses and stewards on board.
Besides its ferry services, Laser Capri also offers motorboat tours around the island of Capri from Marina Grande. The tour passes Punta del Capo, Grotta Bianca, Villa Malaparte, the natural arch, the Faraglioni rocks, Marina Piccola bay, the Green Grotto and the Punta Carena lighthouse.
