Makri Travel

Makri Travel was founded in 2018 and is headquartered on Rhodes, Greece. The company specialises in ferry connections between the Greek Dodecanese islands and the Turkish west coast, and operates a fleet of five ships.

Makri Travel's ferry routes connect the Dodecanese islands of Rhodes, Samos, Leros, Lesbos, Chios and Kos with Turkish ports such as Fethiye, Kusadasi, Ayvalik, Turgutreis and Bodrum. One notable route runs from Kaş (Turkey) to Kastellorizo, Greece's easternmost island, with a crossing time of just 20 minutes and daily departures.

The fleet comprises two fast, modern high-speed ferries: SEA STAR MAKRI and SEA STAR LINDOS. These ships provide efficient, comfortable crossings between Greece and Turkey.

On international routes, passengers should arrive at the port at least 1 hour before departure. Check-in closes 20 minutes before departure. Online tickets are accepted, and passengers can exchange their booking code for a boarding pass at the ticket counter.
