Manche Iles Express was founded on 1 April 2005 with support from the authorities of the Manche department. The company operates high-speed ferries between Normandy in France and the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Alderney.

Its routes run from the French ports of Granville, Carteret and Diélette to the Channel Islands of Jersey (St Helier), Guernsey (Saint Peter Port) and Sark. All crossings take under 1 hour 30 minutes, making day trips between the islands easy. The 2025 season begins on 10 April from Carteret to Jersey and on 18 April from Diélette to Guernsey.

The company runs a single high-speed vessel between April and September, offering fast, comfortable links between the islands. In 2024 it carried 56,000 passengers, an increase of 3,000 on the previous year.

The governments of Jersey, Guernsey and Sark jointly fund the service. In October 2024 Manche Iles Express received £300,000 to help maintain the sea links with Normandy. Tickets can be booked directly via the official website or through ferry comparison sites.
