Meander Travel was founded in 1977 in Kuşadası, Turkey, and is one of five ferry companies operating connections between Turkey and Greece. It specialises in crossings between the Turkish coast and the Greek Dodecanese islands.
Meander Travel runs ferry services between Kuşadası and the Greek island of Samos, as well as between Bodrum and Kos. The crossing from Kos to Bodrum takes only 20-30 minutes, covering a distance of about 12 nautical miles (22 kilometres). In peak season (July-August), ferries on the Kos-Bodrum route run up to three times a day.
The fleet includes the ships Kusadasi Express and Meander Express, deployed across the various routes. In total there are 16 daily crossings on the Greece-Turkey routes, operated by five different ferry companies.
A valid passport or ID card is required for the crossing. The best time to travel is from May to September, with sunny weather and calm seas. Early booking is recommended during the July and August peak season. Tickets start at around 20 euros per leg.
