Menorca Lines is a ferry company founded in 2022, a subsidiary of Trasmapi, an established player in the Balearic ferry market since 1974. Trasmapi is the market leader in its segment, carrying nearly 1 million passengers a year on its main route between Ibiza and Formentera.
The high-speed ferries connect Alcúdia (Mallorca) with Ciutadella (Menorca), with a crossing time of just 1 hour on the fastest service. The Mallorca-Menorca ferry connection runs year-round, with up to 7 daily crossings between the Balearic islands.
The ferries have space for vehicles and are fitted with lifts and wheelchair access. Foot passengers can bring up to 20 kg of luggage. Menorca Lines offers assistance for passengers with reduced mobility or special needs.
Tickets start at around 14-18 euros. Children up to age 4 travel free, children aged 4-13 get reduced fares, and seniors over 60 can also receive discounts. Balearic Islands residents are entitled to discounts of up to 85%.
