NLG (Navigazione Libera del Golfo) is an Italian ferry company that has operated in the Gulf of Naples since 1953. Run by the Aponte family, whose maritime roots go back to the 17th century, NLG has fully modernised its fleet over the years and now operates highly efficient waterjet vessels.

The ferry routes cover the Gulf of Naples, the Amalfi Coast, the Pontine Islands and the Tremiti Islands. NLG ferries run 103 times daily and up to 585 times a week across 42 routes. Popular routes run from Naples to Capri (around 48 minutes) and from Sorrento to Capri (around 25 minutes). Most routes operate from April to October with several daily departures.

The modern fleet consists of 12 vessels - exclusively hydrofoils and catamarans for foot passengers. These include Capri Jet, Ischia Jet, Naples Jet, Salerno Jet, Sorrento Jet, Tremiti Jet, Vesuvio Jet, Jumbo Jet, Amalfi Jet, Superjet, M/N Picasso and Ponza Jet.

NLG does not offer car ferry services, but pets are welcome on board as long as they are kept on a lead or in a carrier. Children under 11 receive a 50% discount, and children under 2 travel free.
