SNAV is a leading Mediterranean shipping company based in Naples that has operated ferry services in the Bay of Naples and beyond since 1958. The company connects Naples year-round with Capri, Ischia and Procida, and seasonally with the Aeolian Islands and Croatia.
The ferry services run from Naples (Molo Beverello) to Capri (38 weekly sailings, 50 minutes), Ischia (Casamicciola Terme, 45-55 minutes) and Procida. From May to September, ferries run to the Aeolian Islands (Stromboli, Panarea, Salina, Vulcano, Lipari), and from March to November on the Ancona-Split route to Croatia. The Naples-Palermo route to Sicily is also served.
The fleet comprises two hydrofoils and eight high-speed ferries, including hydrofoils, catamarans and fast craft. The vessels are fitted with comfortable seating areas, a bar/café, wheelchair access and self-service restaurants (on the cruise ferries to Croatia). At peak season there are up to 9 daily departures to Capri.
Thanks to a partnership with Trenitalia, travellers can book a combined train-and-ferry ticket. Infants up to 2 years travel free without a seat, and children aged 2-12 get a 20% discount. The port of Molo Beverello is centrally located in Naples and about a 20-minute drive from the main railway station.
