Starlines was founded in 1935 and is an Italian ferry company based in Brindisi, offering services between Italy and Albania across the Adriatic. With a fleet of two ships, the company provides comfortable and efficient travel.
The ferry services run from Brindisi in southern Italy to Vlora and Saranda in Albania. The Brindisi-Vlora route is served with 7 weekly crossings, taking around 6 hours 15 minutes (fastest crossing: 4 hours 30 minutes). At peak season, frequency increases to 10-12 departures a week. The route to Saranda runs weekly from July to early September aboard the ferry Ionian Star.
Onboard, passengers can enjoy a range of food from snacks to full meals, as well as drinks. Free Wi-Fi is available. The ferries have bars, restaurants and a boutique. Numbered seats in standard or business class are located in spacious, air-conditioned lounges.
Fares start from around €57 for Brindisi-Vlora and around €83 for Brindisi-Saranda. Cars can be taken on board, and cabins are available on several routes. Passengers should arrive 2-3 hours before departure for international routes.
