The Tanis Fast Cruise was founded in 1992 by Mr I Made and is one of the most reputable speedboat operators on Bali. The company offers daily sea transfers from Sanur to Nusa Penida (Toyapakeh), Nusa Lembongan (Mushroom Bay), Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Lombok.
The speedboats depart from Jl. Hang Tuah No.49, Sanur and reach Nusa Penida (Banjar Nyuh Harbour) in about 25-40 minutes at a speed of 28-33 knots. The flagship Tanis Spirit is 22 metres long, weighs 50 gross tonnes and carries up to 186 passengers with seven 250hp outboard engines.
Safety equipment includes 210 life jackets, 4 life rafts (65 people each), 2 emergency flare sets, an EPIRB, fire extinguishers, marine radio, 6 life rings, first aid equipment, GPS, chart plotter, AIS and echo sounder. All vessels have air-conditioned seating and modern amenities.
