Trasmed GLE is a Spanish shipping company based in Valencia, established in July 2021 as part of the Grimaldi Group. The company, formerly known as Trasmediterránea, operates an extensive ferry network between mainland Spain (Valencia, Barcelona) and the Balearic Islands.
The fleet comprises 6 recently refurbished RoPax ferries for year-round transport of passengers and vehicles. Popular routes include Valencia-Ibiza (5-6.5 hours, from €35-53), Barcelona-Mallorca (7.5 hours, from €64-74), Barcelona-Menorca (8 hours, from €60-84) and Barcelona-Ibiza (8.5-9 hours, from €49-68). Valencia-Menorca runs once a week (16 hours, from €77).
On board there are outdoor decks with sun areas and a swimming pool, air-conditioned indoor lounges with TV, free WiFi and high-quality traditional cuisine. All vehicle types - cars, motorhomes, trucks, bicycles and motorcycles - can be brought along.
Pets are welcome on all Trasmed ships. The company has been certified "Pet Friendly" by the Spanish foundation FAADA. Every voyage prioritises passenger comfort and offers a memorable way to reach the Balearic Islands.
