Turyol is a private ferry operator with a fleet of 70 ships that runs urban and international ferry services in western Turkey, mainly in and around Istanbul. In terms of fleet size and number of lines, Turyol is Turkey's largest private ferry operator and the second-largest overall after Şehir Hatları.

In Istanbul, Turyol runs a commuter ferry service to 19 piers on the Bosphorus, the Golden Horn and the Sea of Marmara. Its Istanbul departure point is at Eminönü, on the western side of Galata Bridge on the south bank of the Golden Horn.

Beyond the Istanbul area, Turyol operates international car ferries from Turkey to the Greek islands of Lesbos and Chios. The routes connect Ayvalık and Çeşme in Turkey with Lesbos (Mytilene) and Chios. Further connections run from Kuşadası to Samos and from Bodrum to Kos. The international routes are mostly active from May to October.

Most Turyol passenger ships have a capacity of over 600 passengers and are powered by twin engines. On the Ayvalık-Lesbos and Çeşme-Chios ferries, there are car decks for vehicle transport. Crossings take between 20 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the route.
