Yaeyama Kanko Ferry Co., Ltd. is a leading ferry operator in Okinawa, Japan, offering reliable connections from Ishigaki Island to the surrounding Yaeyama Islands. The company serves an archipelago known for its stunning bays and white sandy beaches, including the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of Iriomote (since July 2021).

All ferries depart from the Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal on Ishigaki Island. Connections run to Iriomote (Ohara and Uehara ports), Taketomi, Kohama, Kuroshima and Hatoma. The journey to Taketomi takes just about 15 minutes, while the crossing to Iriomote takes between 40 and 50 minutes. Ohara port on Iriomote's south side is more reliable in bad weather, while Uehara in the north is more prone to cancellations in strong winds and swells.

The ferries are modern high-speed vessels with comfortable, airline-style seating in air-conditioned interiors or a covered upper deck with fine views. The company also offers organised excursions, including day tours with mangrove cruises on the Nakama River and visits to the small island of Yubu.

Online tickets can be booked for the outbound journey at a fixed time, while the return trip on the same day is flexible on any ferry. Japanese punctuality is strictly observed - the ferries do not wait for late passengers. Prices for an Iriomote day tour are around ¥14,900 for adults and ¥9,800 for children (7-12 years).
