The ferry services cover the routes between Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar, Tanga and Mkoani (Pemba) with modern high-speed ferries. The crossing from Dar es Salaam to Zanzibar takes around 1 hour 20 minutes, with 4 departures a day from each terminal. The high-speed catamarans reach speeds of up to 37 knots.

The fleet comprises 3 modern vessels, including the 50-metre catamarans MV Zanzibar 1 and MV Zanzibar 2, each with a capacity of 448 passengers. The ships are fitted with state-of-the-art technology and have 6 electrically operated ramps - 2 for luggage trolleys and 4 for passengers. The Zanzibar 1's independent luggage hold has space for 12 luggage trolleys.

Four travel classes are available on board: Economy, Gold Class, Platinum Class and VIP Cabin. Ticket prices range from USD 41 to USD 240. All ferries have toilets and Wi-Fi and accept e-tickets, so there's no need to print anything. Contact: +255 696 112 233.
