The ferry port of Agistri is in Skala, the main settlement on this small Saronic island off the coast of Attica. From here you can reach Aegina and Piraeus. Together the connections add up to as many as 66 departures a day, with crossings taking between 15 minutes and an hour. The port is served by Aegean Flying Dolphins, Hellenic Seaways, Magic Sea Ferries and Saronic Ferries, making Agistri one of the most densely served landing points in the Saronic Gulf.
Getting there and the terminal
Saronic Ferries calls at Skala. The village is also the island's largest settlement: accommodation, shops, cafés and tavernas cluster around the landing point, along with a doctor's surgery, a pharmacy and the police station. A KTEL bus runs between the island's villages, and footpaths also lead to Metochi, which lies between Skala and Megalochori. Agistri is small enough that you can explore the rest on foot or by bike.
Check-in
Saronic Ferries recommends being at the port at least 20 to 40 minutes before departure. You can buy tickets online or on the spot; board at the scheduled departure time with your e-ticket or printed ticket. In Piraeus, departures for Agistri go from Gate E8.
