Ardrossan ferry port lies in North Ayrshire on Scotland's west coast. From here you can reach Brodick on the Isle of Arran. A ferry leaves up to 10 times a day. The crossing takes around an hour. The port is served by Caledonian MacBrayne.
Getting there and the terminal
The terminal address is The Ferry Terminal, Ardrossan, KA22 8ED. By train the walk could hardly be shorter: Ardrossan Harbour station, with services to Glasgow, is around 150 metres from the building. Buses stop in Princes Street, about 600 metres away, and taxis wait 20 metres from the terminal. The port area has more than 500 parking spaces, plus three accessible spaces for short stops right by the building; electric vehicle charging points are nearby. Inside the terminal you will find the ticket desk on the left, a waiting room, toilets on the right and a kiosk selling drinks and snacks.
Check-in
With a vehicle you should be there at least 30 minutes before departure; the check-in booth is on the left just past the car park entrance. On foot it is enough to be at the check-in desk in the terminal building at least 10 minutes before departure. Both figures come from Caledonian MacBrayne.
