Getting there and the terminal
Aurlandsvangen is the administrative centre of Aurland municipality and lies on the east bank of the Aurlandsfjord, where the river Aurlandselvi flows into it. The village is small: barely a square kilometre, with a good eight hundred inhabitants, six metres above sea level. The berth is correspondingly close to everything the place has.
By car you arrive on European route E16, which runs through Aurlandsvangen. It is around 10 kilometres south-west to Flåm, and the western portal of the Lærdal Tunnel opens immediately south of the village and leads on to Lærdal. Where exactly the express boat jetty lies and when Norled closes boarding are not stated publicly by the operator.
