Ports and terminals

Bandar Bentan Telani

Town port

Bandar Bentan Telani ferry port lies on the Indonesian island of Bintan and has exactly one job: the link to Singapore. A ferry leaves for Tanah Merah up to eight times a day, and the crossing takes around 1.25 hours. The route is served by Bintan Resort Ferries.

Getting there and the terminal

The terminal stands in Lagoi in the north of the island. The operator's local address is Jalan Raja Haji, Teluk Sebong, Lagoi, Bintan Utara. It serves the Bintan Resorts area, not the south of the island: if you are staying elsewhere on Bintan, check before booking how you will get on from here. You can buy tickets online up to four hours before departure, and anyone arriving without a booking will find a Bintan Resort Ferries counter at the terminal.

Check-in

Bintan Resort Ferries expects you at its own check-in desk at least 90 minutes before departure, where you also collect your boarding pass. The desk closes 40 minutes before departure, and nobody is processed after that. You need the time in between: this is an international service with border control. Your passport must be valid for at least another six months, and since 1 October 2025 entry into Indonesia also requires the electronic arrival card (All Indonesia e-Arrival Card).
