The ferry port of Belize City International Airport is in Belize. From here you can reach Caye Caulker and San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, so two destinations on the islands off the coast. Together the routes run up to 24 departures a day, twelve to each destination. Crossings take between 1.25 and 1.75 hours. The port is served by Caribbean Sprinter.
Getting there and the terminal
The name is misleading in two ways. First, the international airport is not a ferry berth but the starting point of a combined transfer by road and boat. Second, it is not in Belize City: the municipality and the address are Ladyville in the Belize District, some way outside the city. So if you land here and want to go on to the cayes, you have a drive ahead of you before the boat leaves. The times in the route list cover that road leg as well: a good hour to Caye Caulker, just under two to San Pedro. Allow plenty of time for the connection if you want to reach the island the same day.
