Ferries to Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

The Blue Lagoon Beach Resort landing in Fiji serves a beach resort and not a settlement. It is called at from Denarau, the only destination in the timetable. The timetable lists up to 2 departures a day and the crossing takes around 4.5 hours. The service is operated by South Sea Cruises.

Getting there and the terminal

At the other end the fast catamaran Yasawa Flyer sails from the marina of Port Denarau. South Sea Cruises runs it as a continuous line with intermediate stops through the Yasawa Islands, a chain that begins about 40 kilometres north-west of Lautoka and stretches more than 80 kilometres to the north-east. That is where the four and a half hours come from: the vessel works through the resorts one after another, and this landing lies far along the chain.

The operator publishes no information on the landing itself, and no check-in deadline is stated anywhere. You sort out the procedure when you check in at Port Denarau. Reckon too with tropical storms suspending the Yasawa line at short notice; the operator then stops running for the whole day.
