Bol ferry port is on the south coast of Brač in Croatia. From here you reach Split on the mainland in one hour, Hvar in 45 minutes and Jelsa in 30 minutes. Together the services add up to as many as 12 departures a day. The port is served by Jadrolinija, Krilo Kapetan Luka and Krilo Shipping Company.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth is in the middle of the village on the seafront promenade. Jadrolinija keeps a sales office in Bol at Uz Pjacu 2 in the Grabov rat quarter and sells catamaran tickets there only; the tourist office is at Riva 6. Important for planning: on its fast lines the operator carries foot passengers only, and vehicles and bicycles stay ashore. By car, then, you do not reach Bol directly but by way of the Split - Supetar ferry route on the north coast of the island, which takes 50 minutes. From there you carry on across the island: Arriva covers the 37 road kilometres from Supetar to Bol in around an hour. The bus station in Bol is at Vladimira Nazora 5 in the village centre by the harbour, the one in Supetar on the seafront road near the ferry berth.
Check-in
For lines with reservations, Jadrolinija names at least 45 minutes before departure as the time you should be at the port; for lines without reservations the operator advises one to two hours. A ticket for a fast line is tied to the departure time booked and doubles as a seat reservation. Better to buy it in advance, because the counter in Bol opens only half an hour before departure.
