Bratislava ferry port is in Slovakia, with the berth in the old town district of Staré Mesto on the Danube. From here you can reach Vienna, with up to 6 departures a day. The trip takes around 1.25 hours. The route is operated by the Twin City Liner.

Getting there and the terminal

The catamaran ties up at Ponton HUMA 6 on the Rázusovo nábrežie, level with the SNP Bridge on the old town bank of the Danube; the full address is Ponton HUMA 6, Rázusovo nábrežie, 811 02 Bratislava. Tickets are available online, at the pontoon itself or, in Slovakia, through the partner Flora Tour. Pushchairs travel free of charge, bicycles for a fee, and e-bikes can be charged on board. Dogs may travel on a lead and with a muzzle, and the EU vaccination record is compulsory.

Check-in

Boarding begins half an hour before departure, so be at the pontoon 30 minutes beforehand. Because the trip crosses a national border, you need a valid travel document: EU citizens an identity card or a passport, everyone else should clarify entry requirements with their consulate in advance. If you travel in a wheelchair, the operator says it is better to register this in advance, so that step-free handling is ready for you.
