- Brodick, North Ayrshire, Schottland
Brodick ferry port is on the Isle of Arran in the United Kingdom and is the island's main gateway. From here you can reach Ardrossan and Troon on the west coast of Scotland. Together the services run up to 16 departures a day, and crossings take between one hour and 1.25 hours. The port is served by Caledonian MacBrayne.
Getting there and the terminal
The terminal building stands right at the pier, address The Pier, Brodick, KA27 8AY. The ticket desk and the toilets are on the ground floor and the waiting room one floor up; a lift links the two levels, there is free wi-fi throughout the building and a vending machine in the waiting room.
The stops for the island buses and the tour coaches are immediately next to the terminal, with the taxi rank opposite. If you come by car, short-stay parking is across the road and the long-stay spaces are around 250 metres away. Seven marked disabled parking bays adjoin the building itself.
Check-in
Caledonian MacBrayne asks vehicles to be at the port at least 30 minutes before departure. For foot passengers 10 minutes is enough. You should book a vehicle space in advance; the operator explicitly recommends it.
