Ulusoy Çeşme Port, Musalla Mah. 1107 Sok. Nr. 2, 35930 Çeşme/Izmir
Location
Musalla Mahallesi, Çeşme, Izmir

The ferry port of Cesme is in the province of Izmir in Turkey, with the berth in the Musalla Mahallesi district. From here you can reach Chios, the Greek island directly opposite. There are up to 12 sailings a day. The crossing takes around 15 minutes. The port is served by Ido, Makri Travel and Turyol.

Getting there and the terminal

The ferries leave from Ulusoy Çeşme Port, Musalla Mahallesi, 1107. Sokak No. 2. The port lies on the Aegean directly opposite Chios and is linked to Izmir by motorway. The 85,000 square metre site has three berths: a 330-metre pier for cruise ships and ro-ro traffic, a 215-metre ferry and ro-ro berth, and a short 50-metre ferry berth. For passengers there is parking, duty-free shops, an information desk, a shuttle service and a first aid post.

Check-in

Turyol recommends being on board at least half an hour before the scheduled departure, otherwise your ticket lapses. Factor in the border check: Chios belongs to Greece, so the short crossing is a trip abroad. Keep your passport or identity card in your hand luggage, not in your suitcase.
