Comino is the smallest of Malta's inhabited islands and lies in the channel between Malta and Gozo. For ferry passengers it is a day trip destination: from here you can reach Marfa and Ċirkewwa at Malta's northern tip, both in about 15 minutes. Together the services run up to 49 departures a day. The port is served by Comino Ferries. The timetable for Comino lists no scheduled services to Gozo.
Getting there and the terminal
Comino Ferries serves the island from two points at Malta's northern tip, from Marfa and from Ċirkewwa, and calls at the Blue Lagoon on Comino. According to the operator's timetable the first boat leaves Marfa at 8:30 am and Ċirkewwa at 8:40 am, and the last crossings over to the island go in the afternoon. Operations depend on the weather: in strong winds Comino Ferries suspends the service for the day and says so on its own timetable page. So do not plan your return on the very last departure, and check in the morning whether the boats are running.
