- Island-Queen-Anleger, 75 Falmouth Heights Road, Falmouth Harbor
Falmouth ferry port lies on Cape Cod in the United States. From here you can reach Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. A ferry leaves up to 14 times a day. The crossing takes around 30 minutes. The port is served by Island Queen.
Getting there and the terminal
The Island Queen sails from 75 Falmouth Heights Road at Falmouth Harbor. It is a passenger-only ferry: cars stay behind, bicycles travel with the ship, and over in Oak Bluffs you will find taxis as well as bike and car hire within walking distance of the berth.
The operator's two car parks are just under 200 metres from the berth and carry a sign reading Island Queen Parking. You can drop off luggage and fellow travellers at the berth itself beforehand. The car parks open daily at 8am and close 15 minutes after the last sailing of the day arrives. The season runs from Memorial Day weekend to Columbus Day.
Check-in
Be there at least 30 minutes before departure. The operator counts that half hour for dropping off, parking and checking in together. Reservations not checked in 15 minutes before departure may be passed on to other travellers. Tickets are sold at the terminal from 8am for as long as places remain.
