Fournoi ferry port is on the island of the same name in the northern Aegean, between Samos and Ikaria. From here you can reach 20 destinations, among them Agios Kirikos on Ikaria, Karlovassi on Samos, Kos, Leros and Chios; seven services run only in season. Together the services run up to 40 departures a day, and crossings take between 15 minutes and 19.5 hours. The port is served by Dodekanisos Seaways and Hellenic Seaways.
Getting there and the terminal
Fournoi has exactly one port, and it is at the island's main village, which Dodekanisos Seaways lists as Chora. From the quay it is a few steps into the lanes of the village, and there is no terminal building. Tickets are handled by the operator's central agency on the island; the port authority is based in the village as well.
Check-in
Dodekanisos Seaways requires you to be at the ship 60 minutes before the scheduled departure, with or without a vehicle. Hellenic Seaways gives the same hour for its Greek island routes, again for foot passengers and vehicles alike.
