Fynshav lies on the east coast of the Danish island of Als and is its gateway to Funen. Molslinjen sails from here under the name Alslinjen to Bøjden in the south-west of Funen, up to 16 times a day, around 45 minutes across the Baltic. If you are coming from southern Jutland or from Schleswig-Holstein, it saves you the long land route over the bridges.

Getting there and the terminal

The ferry berth has the address Færgevej 2A, 6440 Fynshav and lies on the eastern edge of the village. There is a car park on the Færgevej. Without a car you reach the harbour on the Sydtrafik buses from Sønderborg: route 225 via Augustenborg and Asserballe, route 226 via Høruphav, Tandslet and Mommark. Both run to the Fynshav Færgehavn stop.

Check-in

Alslinjen expects you checked in at the harbour 15 minutes before the scheduled departure, whether you travel on foot or by car. If you are checked in on time, your place on board is guaranteed. For heavy vehicles such as articulated lorries, unaccompanied trailers and vehicles without a driver, the lead time is double: 30 minutes. The operator recommends the same if you travel in a disabled-adapted vehicle that needs the lift: be there 30 minutes earlier and arrange the space by telephone in advance.
