The ferry port of Guernsey is at St Peter Port, the capital of the second-largest Channel Island, on the east coast looking across to Herm and Sark. From here you can reach five destinations: Jersey, Dielette in France, Poole, Portsmouth and Saint-Malo. Together the routes run up to 16 departures a day, and crossings take between 1.25 and 7.5 hours. The port is served by Brittany Ferries, DFDS, Islands Unlimited and Manche Iles Express.

Getting there and the terminal

The terminal stands on the White Rock, the northern arm of St Peter Port harbour, postcode GY1 2LL. By car you approach along St Julian's Avenue. The town centre and the nearest bus stop are five minutes' walk away, with short-stay and long-stay parking within walking distance. For that you need the parking clock customary on Guernsey, which you can pick up on board. The building has a cafeteria, a duty-free shop and wi-fi.

Check-in

Brittany Ferries closes check-in 60 minutes before scheduled departure for vehicles and 40 minutes before for foot passengers. The operator advises arriving 90 to 120 minutes ahead by car and at least 70 minutes ahead on foot.
