Hvar ferry port lies on the island of Hvar in Croatia, with the berth on the Riva in Hvar Town. From here you can reach 6 destinations, among them Split, Korcula and Dubrovnik. Together the connections add up to as many as 65 departures a day. Crossings take between 45 minutes and 3.5 hours. The port is served by Jadrolinija, Krilo Kapetan Luka and TP Line.

Getting there and the terminal

The berth is at the town harbour of Hvar; Jadrolinija keeps its agency directly on the Riva. The decisive point for planning: you can only reach Hvar Town without a vehicle. Jadrolinija carries cars on its ferry lines only — the ship and fast-boat lines are for foot passengers. If you want to bring a car to the island, take the car ferry to Stari Grad or to Sućuraj, where Jadrolinija runs an agency at each ferry berth, and drive on from there. Overlook this and you end up with your car in Split and a catamaran ticket in your hand.

Check-in

Jadrolinija recommends being at the port at least 45 minutes before departure and advises buying your ticket in advance so that your place on the sailing you want is secure. Check-in at the agency of the departure port opens two hours before departure; bring ID and, for vehicles, the vehicle registration document.
