The ferry port of Ilovik is on the southernmost inhabited island of the Losinj archipelago in the Croatian Adriatic. From here you can reach 6 destinations, among them Mali Losinj, Pula and Silba. Together the services add up to as many as 12 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 minutes and 3 hours. The port is served by Krilo Kapetan Luka.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth belongs to the island's only village, also called Ilovik, and is its transport hub. The harbour is sheltered by the uninhabited neighbouring island of Sveti Petar: a narrow channel runs between the two and acts as a natural harbour, giving fishermen and sailors alike the calm setting Ilovik is known for.
Plan to arrive without a car. Ilovik is car-free and has no made-up roads; everything on the island is done on foot. Whatever luggage you bring, you carry it yourself from the quay to your accommodation. The port has a daily link to Mali Losinj, plus several services a week to more distant destinations in the northern Adriatic. In summer excursion boats from Mali and Veli Losinj also call, but they are no substitute for the scheduled service.
