Ischia ferry port is in the Ischia Porto district and is the main way in to the largest island in the Bay of Naples. From here you can reach 8 destinations: Naples in an hour, Procida in 30 minutes, plus Pozzuoli, Sorrento, Capri and, in season, Positano, Amalfi and Salerno. Together the services run up to 113 departures a day, and crossings take between 30 minutes and 3 hours. 7 operators call at the port, among them Alilauro, Caremar, Medmar and SNAV.
Getting there and the terminal
The port is reached via the island's road network and is only a few hundred metres from the central bus station, from which services run to the other villages on the island. At the berth you will find a ticket office, a bar, a cash machine, a taxi rank, a covered waiting area and a kiosk.
Check-in
Check-in is at the desk in the port, not online. In its conditions of carriage for the Bay of Naples, SNAV specifies 30 minutes before departure, and Alilauro likewise 30 minutes. Medmar, which runs the car ferries, requires at least 30 minutes for vehicles and 15 minutes for foot passengers.
