The ferry port of Kalymnos is by the main town of Pothia and is one of the most frequently served berths in the Dodecanese. From here you can reach 22 destinations, with up to 75 departures a day in total. The most frequent sailings go to Mastichari on Kos (45 minutes, up to 14 departures a day) and to the town of Kos itself (30 minutes). Leros is 45 minutes away, Lipsi 75, Patmos an hour and a half, Symi two hours and Rhodes three. Then there are Nisyros, Tilos, Astypalea, Agathonisi and Pythagorio on Samos. The shortest crossing takes 15 minutes, the longest 11 hours, and 8 services run seasonally only. In its conditions of carriage for the Dodecanese, Blue Star Ferries requires you to be in the boarding area at least one hour before departure. The same hour applies with a vehicle.
