Kowloon

Town port

Terminals
China Ferry Terminal, China Hong Kong City, 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

The ferry port of Kowloon lies in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, on the mainland side of the harbour opposite Hong Kong Island. From here you reach Zhuhai on the Chinese side of the Pearl River Delta. A ship leaves up to 12 times a day and the crossing takes around 1.25 hours. The port is served by TurboJet.

Getting there and the terminal

The berth is the China Ferry Terminal, and it is not a free-standing harbour building but part of the China Hong Kong City complex at 33 Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. If you are looking for a separate ferry building on the waterfront, you will walk straight past it. From here TurboJet sails to Jiuzhou port in Zhuhai.

Check-in

TurboJet advises that you should be on board no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. The reason is document control: the route between Hong Kong and Zhuhai crosses a border, so keep your passport and, where required, your visa for mainland China to hand rather than in your luggage.
