Getting there and the terminal
Krakhella is the ferry berth on the eastern side of the island of Sula, in the municipality of Solund, Vestland county. The quay lies on the inner coastal route through the Krakhellesund and is the driver's gateway to the island world of Solund.
Sula is an island, and the link to the mainland is the car ferry. It forms part of national road 57 and connects Krakhella with Rysjedalsvika in Hyllestad and with Rutledal in Gulen. This route is run by Fjord1. The intermediate berth at Losna is served only if you call ahead, so a stop there has to be ordered in advance.
From the quay, road 606 runs west across Sula, Steinsundøy and Rånøy to Ytre Steinsund. It is the main axis of the archipelago and opens up the outer islands of the municipality.
